First Strides - Learn To Skate (15 week Program) - $292 + $20 SSNB/SSC Membership Fee
Time : Friday evening 6:00-7:00 pm (15 week program)
Runs: October 18, 2024 - March 7th, 2025
Description: Program ranges from beginner aged to more advanced skill development. This program is on Hockey style skates and great for those wanting to Learn to skate or improve overall skating skills. LTS is geared towards all forms of skating whether you are learning for Hockey, Ringette, Speed Skating, or general Recreation.
Skaters are divided based on ability from beginner to advanced.
Minimum age: 4 year's old by July 1st 2024
This program is in its 4th decade and is extremely popular.
Fast Strides - C Group (Learn to Speed Skate) - $370 + $98 SSNB/SSC Membership Fee
Description: This program is designed for returning Speed Skaters and skaters who have graduated from a Learn to Skate program and can jump, turn, stop, and skate backwards on their own. Athletes at this level are invited to attend club, local, and provincial competitions if they wish.
The club offers skate rentals for those skaters wishing to rent.
Tuesday :6:00-7:00 pm (5:45 Board Pads)
Thursday: 6:00-7:00 pm (5:45 Board Pads)

Fast Strides - B Group (Intermediate) - $473 + $98 SSNB/SSC Membership Fee
Description: Intermediate level skating program designed for competitive level speed skaters. The club offers skate rentals for those skaters wishing to rent speed skates.
Tuesday: 7:00-8:00 pm
Thursday: 7:00-8:15 pm
Runs: Oct 1st, 2024 - March 28, 2025
Fast Strides - A Group (Advanced) - $884 + $98 SSNB/SSC Membership Fee*
* $142 for SSNB/SSC National membership fees those competing at National Junior, Senior and Canada Cup level
Description: More advanced level speed skating program for athletes skating at both provincial , regional , and National level)
Monday - 7:30-8:45 pm (7:15 Board Pads)
Tuesday - 8:00-9:15 pm - note session usually starts post flood @8:10 pm
Wednesdays: 7:00-8:15 pm (6:45 Board Pads)
Sundays 8:00-9:15 am (7:45 Board Pads) (total of 10 throughout season)
Runs: Sept 30th - March 28, 2025
Dressing Rooms: (TBC)
~ Dressing Room 10 as a Family/Unisex area (common area, any skaters and/or parents welcome)
~ Dressing Room 8 as a Male Skaters Only (parents please remain outside in hall)
~ Dressing Room 6 Female Skaters Only (parents please remain outside in hall)
No phones/tablets/other camera devices are to be turned on and they must remain packed away at all times while in the dressing room. This applies to anyone in the dressing rooms. Parents are responsible for monitoring skaters (and their own) behavior.
